On a yearly basis, thousands of patients develop difficult to manage, non-healing wounds. These wounds are costly to the healthcare system in that they require long term skilled nursing placement, home health utilization, transfers to wound care clinics, or admission to acute care facilities often as a result of misdirected care. Our wound care services, along with our trained staff, can prevent many of these maladies simply by providing diligent and proper treatment on a regular and consistent basis, as well as facilitate coordinating the many Medical Specialists who are often necessary to contribute to the wound healing process.
